David is a member of the Canadian Psychiatric Association and the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association. Outside of medicine, he enjoys gymnastics, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with his family. He is on the board of Professional Association of Residents of Newfoundland and Labrador (PARNL). Prior to entering medicine, Dr. Lane completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, as well as a Master’s in Public Health at Memorial. David  is a member of the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada and the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association.
