Stronger Together
National Partners

Resident Doctors of Canada is forward thinking, solutions focussed, equity driven and standard setting. These are the values that we bring to the table in all of our work with our national partners.
As the national voice of Canada’s resident doctors RDoC is a proud member of the Canadian Medical Forum (CMF). The CMF brings together leaders of Canada’s major national medical organizations for consultation, relationship and consensus building, strategy development and joint action.
RDoC’s volunteer resident advocates are valued voices at the tables of our national partners.
- RDoC is represented by over 30 resident volunteer advocates actively involved in national discussions and promoting RDoC’s mission to champion healthier ways to learn and work.
- These resident volunteers fill 53 positions across 45 opportunities, including committees, working groups, and conferences, collaborating with 16 national partners.
- Their work spans critical issues such as Competence by Design (CBD), pan-Canadian licensure, increased resident physician mobility, health human resources, education reform and optimization, learner well-being, accreditation, the CaRMS match, equity, diversity, inclusion & anti-racism and CanMEDS 2025.
Working together with our partners – we are a stronger medical community.
