The 2015 National Physician Employment Summit was held November 5-6, 2015. This year’s summit built on conclusions drawn from the first summit in February 2014 and had the following objectives:
- interpret health system and workforce trends, including the latest physician employment data;
- share perspectives on physician employment, focusing on resources and strategies; and
- develop a multi-stakeholder action plan to aid physician employment and better inform health workforce planning in Canada.
